Marlise Karlin, CEO/Founder of SOS Method™, is a recognized mental health pioneer, humanitarian activist, and author.
Ignite Your Power. Inspire Peace.
Before becoming a successful entrepreneur, Marlise produced an Independent SpiritAward-winning film in Hollywood, was International Director of an NGO, and served as National Director for Break the Cycle.
Her quest to discover solutions for stress, healthy living and empowerment stems from personal trauma. Growing up with an abusive alcoholic father caused Marlise to become a teen runaway and develop stress related illnesses.
Unwilling to allow tragedy to dominate and direct her life, she became passionate about finding new ways to heal and become empowered.
Marlise studied with teachers from diverse fields for 25 years: masters of meditation from India, holistic experts from Japan, and leading Western scientists. This led her to develop SOS Method, Ignite Your Power. Inspire Peace, a pioneering new approach to wellness.
“When I began to see that people of all cultures and ages could develop an inspired mind, emotional balance, and/or physical wellbeing – in less time than we’ve thought possible, I realized I had to find a way to share it.”
Named an inner peace expert by sheknows.com, Marlise has been interviewed on NBC, ABC, and Fox, featured in Forbes, Natural Health, Women’s World, AOL, and The Mommy Insider among other media outlets.
A sought-after public speaker, Karlin has toured extensively across the US, Canada, UK, Europe, Africa, Cambodia & Australia. She’s a visionary entrepreneur who’s committed to elevating people’s true power to thrive.
2 Decades of Field Research documented with diverse populations globally demonstrated breakthrough results for victims of war with chronic illness in Asia, traumatized refugees with insomnia in Africa, LGBTQ kids with anxiety in the US and stressed out professionals with depression in Europe.
